MISSION STATEMENT
Victoria's Academy's Mission is to train students in the field of Cosmetology, Barbering, Manicuring, Esthetics, Massage and as Instructor's for the Workforce of today.
A History of Excellence
Victoria’s Academy of Cosmetology was founded in 2001 to provide students and the community with an excellent level of service to meet the strong needs of our profession.
We strive to maintain an environment where creativity and growth are emphasized. To achieve our goals, there is a commitment from staff members and students to teach and learn in the most professional manner.
In July,
2009 we opened our new facility
having 15,000 square feet
of space. We have three large
classrooms, each with capabilities
for teaching with the Internet
and for using PowerPoint,
presented on 72 inch TV's.
Our Esthetics+ and Massage department
has it's own classroom, ten
facial / massage spaces
, with the latest
technology in electrotherapy
equipment, as well as a separate
waxing room. There is a generous
space for the student lounge,
lunch and locker room with
its own kitchen. The dispensary
is large and open and overlooks
the main lab area. There
are 56 new Cosmetology stations
in the main lab and a separate
beginning lab that will comfortably
house 25 students. We have
8 new shampoo bowls with
6 new hair dryers. We have
a demonstration area with
bleachers for our students
to learn in.
A Commitment to Excellence
The Academy has a commitment to train students for a career in Cosmetology, Manicuring, Barbering, Esthetics or as an Instructor.
It is for this reason we have become a CLiC International and NCEA training facility.
This includes living up to the expectations of potential employers regarding professionalism, appearance, safety and sanitation. Victoria’s holds much of the same standards in the school as would be expected of the majority of the industry.
